The 5K is an OPEN event and is available for OPEN teams
 
The  5K is an OPEN event and has Team Opportunities for Corporate, Club, Families, Businesses, Running Clubs, Etc

  Age Groups, Divisions and Prizes 

12K & 5K OPEN Divisions:
12K & 5K Age Divisions: 
under 8, 8-12, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-65,66-69, 70-75, 76+
Age category 1st place M & F
 
 12K and 5K Cash Awards for Individuals (M & F):
1st Place:  OPEN - $100     Masters 40+ - $50    Veterans 50+ - $50    Seniors 60+- $50  
2nd Place: OPEN  - $50   3rd Place: OPEN  - $25      
Only one individual cash award per runner
i.e. if OPEN is taken by a Master, he/she wins OPEN prize and Master's prize money defaults to next place finisher
Clydesdales and Fillies:   Trophy for Overall Clydesdale (M >190 lbs) and Fillie (F >145 lbs)
 
Awards:  Youngest and Oldest Runners in 12K  - both M & F

12K & 5K TEAM events
The 12K is both an OPEN event and the New England Grand Prix Championship

AWARDS for the 5K teams are Team Trophies 
  1st, 2nd, 3rd place team trophies

5K Team Rules: 
5K Team entries can be from any Organization, Club, Business,  group of friends, women's teams, local principality, etc. 
ANY NUMBER OF ENTRANTS PER TEAM

Teams can be all Women or Men plus at least one woman (example: top 3 Men plus top F; minimum one woman score)

Age and Sex-weighted scoring of top 4 runners (minimum of 1 female included in top four times
